PRAIRIE FIRE SOLAR PLANT 

       February, 2014

Tucson-based SOLON Corporation completed construction of a 5-megawatt solar plant on the southeast side of Tucson, Arizona for Tucson Electric Power.  TEP owns and operates the solar production facility which spans 28 acres and is composed of more than 17,000 solar panels. 

TEP is leasing the acreage from Pima County.  Over the course of a year, the Prairie Fire array is expected to produce approximately 9,000 megawatt hours.
