More than 500 solar industry leaders from hundreds of businesses issued a letter to the White House, endorsing limits on carbon pollution from power plants and advocating that solar energy become a focal point of the U.s. Environmental Protection Agency's proposed Clean Power Plan.  The solar industry is already installing solar panels on many thousands of farms, schools, churches, businesses, and homes.

Arizona Public Service would like to see more solar panels face the setting sun in the west, producing electricity in the hottest part of the day, when the utility needs it the most.  Most panels are currently installed facing south to generate the most power throughout the year.
